Sunday A.M. Connections

A sense of family and spiritual growth begins in one of our adult classes. Each class is designed to help adults connect with others while learning the Scriptures and how they apply to everyday life.

The key to this time on Sunday is to give insight for living. Be sure to check out what each class is offering.

Spiritual Practices

Soul Sisters (Women’s Class)

Leaders: Deb Howell & Marcia Hall, Room #2

This class is for women who desire to go deeper in their walk with the Lord, and each other as sisters in Jesus Christ. The study for this class is the devotional guide, “Praying the Names of God“ by Ann Spangler. We will focus on the various names and titles of God, names that reveal Him as our Creator, our King, and our Refuge. The purpose of our study is to lead each woman into deeper prayer and a more confident knowledge of the character and nature of God.

Band of Brothers (Men’s Class)

Leader: Mark Wilmot, Room #3

As a "Band of Brothers," men can walk toward a pursuit of healthy spirituality that should mark the life of every Christian man. This class challenges men to become spiritual leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. It will help you discover who you are in Christ and how you can live a more vital life based upon a true biblical model of manhood.

Thinking like a Christian

Leader: Brad Lytle, Room #4

From TV news to public school classrooms, secular ideas are presented as “the way to think” - even though they’re infected with an array of false assumptions. Yet, Christians too easily succumb because they don’t understand how remarkably reasonable it is to view the world from a biblical perspective. This interactive class will take you on a journey into the world of ideas that are shaping our culture while teaching you biblical responses.
