What Is A Short Term Missions Trip?

A Short Term Missions Trip is a group of people, a team, accepting the
opportunity and commitment to:

  • Serve the Lord
  • Share the gospel with others
  • Interact personally with individuals or groups
  • Serve the missionaries, nationals and/or Christian workers in another culture
  • Complete a specific project
  • Strengthen one's personal relationship with the Lord
  • A Short Term Missions Trip usually is one week, several weeks, or a month in length. A STMT might be taken in the United States or in another country.
