Paul Piraino

Lead Pastor


Paul joined the Victory family in 1989 as a Student Ministry Pastor. Over the years, he served in many different roles, and he presently holds the position of Lead Pastor. Paul is passionate about following Jesus, leading people to becoming fully devoted followers of Him, and making a lasting impact on Victory’s surrounding community and beyond.

Paul married the love of his life, Christine, in 1986. They have been blessed with three wonderful daughters and three sons-in-law. Paul derives much joy from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Paul enjoys reading, exercising, hands-on-projects, and playing sports. His favorite times are sitting with his wife on a beach by the ocean reading a book. His greatest pleasure is pursuing Jesus and living life with his family, friends, and dog.

Kurt Parker

Executive Director of Ministry and Operations


Kurt Parker grew up in Holland, Michigan and relocated his family to North Carolina in 1999. In 2004, Kurt left his executive position in the marine industry to pursue full time ministry as Victory's children's pastor. In 2008, Kurt assumed the role of Victory's Director of Finance and Operations, and he took on overseeing Ministry development and programming in 2018.

Kurt and his wife, Tracy, live in Corning, New York. They have two grown sons and five grandchildren. Kurt enjoys building furniture from re-claimed lumber and old architectural pieces, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Kurt’s passion is to see men and women come to understand that they are God’s chosen people and that the abundant life God promises is found only when we give our lives to Christ and are committed to living the life God has planned for us. Living the Jesus way of life is the abundant life!

Vaughn VanSkiver

Spiritual Formation Pastor


Vaughn served in youth ministry with Family Life Ministries starting in 1980 and transitioned to Victory in 2000 to work as our Worship Arts Pastor. In 2017, Vaughn transitioned into his current role as Victory's Spiritual Formation Pastor.

Vaughn and his wife, Joyce, have two married sons and five grandchildren. In his spare time, Vaughn enjoys archery hunting, fly fishing, landscaping, gardening, and spending time with his family. Most of his lunch hours are spent at the YMCA fighting fat and old age.

Aaron Duvall

Teaching Pastor & Community Groups


Aaron is a husband to Chera, father to Harper, and follower of Jesus. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he majored in Philosophy. He went on to earn an MA in Entrepreneurial Ministry Leadership from Tabor College.

Aaron enjoys biking with his family, reading, running, and watching college sports. He is passionate about chocolate chip cookies. He hates meatloaf, plastic fruit, and meetings. Aaron thinks nothing is more exciting than living as a disciple of Jesus.

Paul Hancy (Pastor Phancy)

Children's Ministry Pastor


Pastor Phancy, as the kids call him, is a big kid at heart. He’s been serving in children and family ministry for over 30 years. His passion is to creatively and energetically teach kids what it means to be fully devoted to Jesus through learning from God’s Word. His goal is also to equip parents lead their kids spiritually at home.

Pastor Phancy has been married to his best friend, Marcia, for over 30 years. They have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Margie Weber

Children's Ministry Assistant Pastor


Margie married the love of her life, David Weber, in 2013. Together, they have a blended family with four kids.

She has been involved in ministry her whole life, including serving in VictoryKids and The Healing Journey groups. Her life experience and love for Jesus fuel her desire to help those who are hurting and feeling excluded to find a safe community of real, relateble people who embrace the struggle to follow Christ in a broken world together.

Margie enjoys time with family and friends, Bible teaching, photography, cake decorating, dancing, and writing.

Brady & Sydney Bond

Elmira Campus Pastors


Brady and Sydney Bond are originally from the Corning, NY area. They grew up locally and met at Victory's student ministries. Brady and Sydney are married and have one child (well, two, if you count their Great Dane!). They are both graduates of Kingswood University (B.A.) and they have been part of Victory's Staff since they graduated in 2018. Brady is passionate about worship, evangelism and equipping the local church. Sydney's passion is for local missions and teaching. In their free time you can find them spending time with their families, being with friends and enjoying a cup of coffee. On a Sunday morning you might find them greeting you at the entrance, preaching the message or on the worship team!

Dylan Roderick

Student Ministries Pastor


Dylan is passionate to see the next generation to step into the Kingdom of God through impactful catalysts that root them into the Body of Christ. He is passionate about facilitating those impactful catalysts, whether it's through communicating a message to students on a Sunday or having a one-on-one conversation over coffee.

Dylan graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Christian Ministries. He grew up in Indiana, the land of corn, before moving to Delaware, where he met his wife, Kirsten. They have four beautiful cats together. Dylan loves coffee, video games, hiking, weight lifting, and living life in community with others.

Ted Roloson

Minister of Pastoral Care


Ted has lived in the area since 1999. He came onto the Victory staff in 2001. His service to God and the church includes teaching, counseling, visitation, funerals, and weddings. Ted has served for over 60 years in ministry to the Wesleyan Church. His many roles have included Pastor, Army Chaplain, and Dean of Students.

Ted married Emily in 2009, and they have two daughters, a son, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

In his free time, Ted enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, and sailing.

Tom Meighan

Facilities Manager


Tom worked for Corning, Inc. as well as Dresser-Rand before joining the Victory team in 2017. He has a Bachelors of Science and a Certified Energy Manager certification. His diverse roles an an engineer, business consultant, and project leader have allowed him to flourish as Victory's Facilities Manager.

Tom is married to Marcy and has two adult children.

Marcy Meighan

Accounting & Office Manager


Marcy and her husband, Tom, moved from West Virginia to Kentucky and Arizona before settling in New York in 2000.

For several years, Marcy worked as a stay at home mom with her two children, Melanie and Thomas.

She rejoined the workforce and served at Corning Christian Academy as their Accounting and Operations Manager before moving to Schuyler Head Start to work as their Chief Financial Officer. In 2012 she landed her dream job at Victory.

Gary Hart

Minister of Pastoral Care


Gary has been a Christ follower since he was six years old, but spent time away from the Lord after his father passed in 1984. In 1990, his future wife, Candace, brought him into the Victory family, and his life was changed forever.

God healed Gary of cancer in 2002, at which point he committed himself to full-time ministry. Gary feels very blessed to serve Jesus, and he looks forward to continuing in ministry for the rest of his days on Earth.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. - Ecclesiastes 3:11

Pete LoPresto

Men’s Discipleship & Recovery


Pete discovered Victory in 1999 with his family, and they loved it. Pete has been a Pastor at Victory since 2011 and helps men live in the freedom God intended for them. He is passionate about discipleship and recovery ministry.

Pete’s former employment included serving in the U.S. Army and law enforcement before working for the U.S .Postal Service and completing a 30 year career.

Pete and his wife Maureen married in 1982. They live in Corning and have four grown children and seven grandchildren. Pete loves reading and driving across the U.S. to see his family.

Carol Jimerson

Ministerial Student - Adults


Carol graduated with a degree in Leadership and Ministry from Ohio Christian University. She has written many devotionals that have been published in “Light From The Word”. Carol also wrote Grace Like Chocolate Syrup: Good Over Everything. Her writings reveal God’s abundant grace in everyday life!

Carol and her husband, Kip, married in 1981 and began their Victory journey in 2013. Carol fills many teaching roles at Victory, including co-leading the Legacy Builders group!

Carol loves her Victory family. She also enjoys writing, walking, photography, and sharing Jesus!

David Weber

Ministerial Student - Families


David is the husband of Margie Weber and proud father of a blended family of four children. He graduated from Houghton College with a B.A. in English Literature; from Syracuse University with a M.S. in School Psychology; and, from Syracuse University College of Law with a J.D.

Currently, David practices law in New York as a solo practitioner. He also serves as a Ministerial Student within the Wesleyan Church.

David spends as much time as he can with his family and friends. He is a lifelong learner and tries to improve himself and the world around him through his education and experience.

Marcia Hancy

Administrative Assistant


Marcia graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Christian Education. She has been married to her husband Paul since January of 1985, and they have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Marcia loves volunteering as a small group leader in Student Ministries and supporting her husband as a co-host in VictoryKids. She brings her experience as an Office Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Deputy Court Clerk to the administrative staff. Marcia never met a chocolate she didn't like, and she enjoys watching movies, reading, shopping, and adventures with her husband.

Vikki Lightfoot

Administrative Assistant


Vikki began her career in administrative work at Corning Incorporated where she worked for eight years prior to starting her family. After being a stay-at-home mom and volunteering at the Christian Learning Center for ten years, she joined the Victory staff in 1998.

Vikki has been an Administrative Assistant to Pastor Paul Piraino for over twenty years. She presently assists Pastor Paul and Pastor Vaughn VanSkiver in Spiritual Formation.

Vikki loves the Christmas season and looks forward to decorating Pastor Paul’s office each year.

Brad Violette

Student Ministries Pastor


Brad loves seeing life change in students' lives. He is passionate about mentoring students to grow deeper in their relationships with God and showing them that the normal Christian life isn't boring.

Brad graduated from Kingswood University in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Ministry. He is originally from the Maritime provinces in Canada. Some of his favorite activities include spending time with his family, working on cars, and playing rugby (or any other competitive sport).

Joe Oppenheim

Sound Technician


Joe is originally from Horseheads, New York. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Wilkes University in 1988. Joe teaches at Corning Community College as a Computer Science Professor and has served on Victory's Tech Team for about 15 years.

Joe has two wonderful daughters. He is passionate about veganism and environmentalism. He also enjoys hiking, gardening, and cooking.
