Victory Resident Internship FAQs

How long will my internship last?

Each resident will serve under the supervision, guidance and direction of a Ministry Leader for one year.

Is this a full-time position?

Interns work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Part-time jobs outside of Victory are optional, but they must be secondary to your Resident Internship Experience.

Will I be paid?

Interns are paid a stipend of $180 per week (with optional housing).

Will Victory help Resident Interns with housing?

Victory does have limited housing opportunities available on a first come, first served basis. Interns will stay with “Host Families” from within the church. If housing is unavailable, interns must provide their own housing.

What about health insurance?

The resident must provide his/her own health insurance and provide proof of such to Victory.

Can I be married and do an internship?

Yes, but we may not be able to accept as many married applicants based on our ability to provide housing. It is especially rare for us to accommodate those who are married with children; but we would still welcome your application for the internship.

Do I need a car?

Yes. The majority of responsibilities of our interns require them to have a reliable form of transportation. This ranges from daily job responsibilities, being able to get to and from work, and serving on the weekends.

Do I get time off?

Yes, you will usually get 2 full days off during the week (most likely Friday and Saturday) plus 1 week of vacation. There are also certain holidays during the year that the offices are closed.

Will I hear from someone immediately?

You will receive a confirmation email upon submitting your application; however, we will only contact applicants we choose to interview.
